These are getting hard to find as stocks are getting low.
After the great review by the fitlike boys, I had to get a box.
Decent price for a 9 box of partagas cigars -

Good looking sticks with a nice smell to them, will use them as probably intended, a group smoke.

Great looking package, not as bad in the flesh.
If all else fails, they are still a really good smoke.
      Well worth a punt.

I've got one of these, they look so cool. Not sure if I will smoke it or just let it sit for a while. Enjoy!

i almost brought a box in havana, really i just wanted a three bundle. Didnt they used to come wrapped in foil? Im sure i remember when i first started in the trade, we had them in foil.

The story of why these where made, made me smile when Dan from foxes told me. The rollers where given 3 sticks a day to smoke and to ensure they didnt smoke the "stock", they where given these. So any one passing would know if its from the daily ration or not.
            I smoke therefore i am.

They really do look very nicely constructed.I think they're great as a piece of artwork,as it were, but I don't think I could bring myself to shell out the coin for them as a smoke And like Zig said earlier.......

They really do look special. Can imagine they look slightly odd smoking them. Definitely 1 to go on the list.

apparently the foil wrapped ones were machine made and are no longer in production

I have a foil-wrapped one but it never came in a coffin. It's been sitting since 2003!! Never found the occasion to smoke it yet lol
