  • Saturday 02 May - Central London, early evening

Just wondered if anyone is in town next Saturday 02 May circa 6.00pm for a couple of hours?...

I have to attend an examiners' conference all day in a hotel in Holborn and will be bored witless by the end of the conference.

I usually pick up a couple of sticks at Smith and Sons in the Charing Cross Road and smoke them over a beer or two before taking the train home from Charing Cross.

If the weather is good and anyone feels like meeting up in the Leicester Square / Charing Cross area, it would be a pleasure to have a laugh and smoke a couple off.

If not, I'll watch the world go by happily on my tod.

I would love to join you, friend. Unfortunately, you and I didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked during the walk last weekend. Next time, perhaps.

I can report back that last night was a great herf, with Myself, Peanut, Nades, Harry and Robusto to Moderate proceedings.

Harry I think has been coverted now to the ways of the leaf which was cool, I must also say what a nice bunch the others are, pictures to follow............

errm well on the way home walked past my office, saw the lights on, thought thats a bit strange, went into find out the score (had been drinking my brave juice) and turns out the alarm had gone off, so while I checked the building with the guy who had been called out from the security company I missed my last train, so spent the night on the sofa while I waited 3 hours for the alarm people to come out and fix the alarm which was buggered.

On the bright side I sparked one up on the terreace out the back at 4am, was kind of cool actually

It was a fine evening last night. Just what I needed after a day concentrating in a hall. Great chat, and far more fun than if I'd rushed for the 1600 train home.

Can't beat smoking a good cigar when walking through a busy city!
