HDM Du Gourmet 2002

Now that I've got my methods for keeping cigars nailed down to a perfect science with the use of tupperdors and beads I decided I was worth some aged smokes. I purchased a box of HDM Du Gourmets from 2002,

They gave off a very subtle yet divine choclatey scent. I'll try these out in about month, these smokes are very Clint Eastwood in my opinion. I'll bet they smoke alot better than the rough stuff he had in those movies though!

Box code: EAR. It's the box code of the La Corona factory, a good thing IMO. These certainly won't taste like Clint Eastwood cigars, which are Toscani cigars made of strong matured kentucky tobacco grown in Italy…

What a cracking find, enjoy.

I think the Le Hoyo series often seem to go under the radar - I think they are excellent cigars and age very well although I don't recall having any with 10 years on them so will look forward to your reports - they should be approaching their prime.
The du Depute is a favourite of mine for a quickish smoke at the moment (sadly mine are only 2 years old!).
