Time for new pipe tobaccco!

I'm starting to run low on my supplies of pipe tobacco, so the time has come for another order!

Apart from the blends I usually smoke - mainly Robert Lewis 123 and Tree, Dunhill London and Robert McConnell Oriental mixtures - I was wondering if anyone out there had any recommendations for other blends I could try out?

As you can probably tell, I tend to avoid sickly sweet aromatics, but open to any suggestions.

If you stick to tobaccos available in the UK, I would say:
– R. Gawith Skiff Mixture
– R. Gawith Commonwealth
– Robert McConnell Latakia Flake (a recent discovery for me, it's a bold, delicious, easy to crumble flake)
– Ashton Artisan's Blend (possibly too strong for your taste - it's a bit similar to Nighcap)
– Peterson Old Dublin
– Davidoff Royalty

That is not a bad way to sample plenty of different types. I may pick up a few samplers as I quite like smoking the pipe every now and then.

I've only tried the American Aromatics sampler from Gauntleys which I was given for my birthday. All four were very enjoyable and got me looking for more. Will have to give the three you've suggested a go.
