  • The May Workout Competition...

...colloquially known as the WADDAFCUKAMI Challenge

EDIT: Just got back from the local stockists and the prize in question will be an H. Upmann Magnum 46 Tubo. Pic is on page 2 as I can't seem to add it as a stand alone edit.

I've carefully dissected a prestigious stick for your eyes to feast upon. Don'y worry, it was long dead before I got to work. There's no trickery, it's Cuban and you'll all know the brand.

    It's a two-fold question:
What cigar is it, and how many individual pieces of tobacco made up this formerly beautiful smoke?

In the event that someone gets the stick, but not the amount of leaves, it'll be the closest if that's ok. There may also be some clues dropped in along the way, but I'll see about that one.
    Good luck!

Yeah, and the work that is involved in getting them all together to form a specific length and shape. Talented, them rollers.

OK from here on I am going into CSI Miami mode, I did think I would be Calleigh Duquesne (crazy name, crazy gal) because she used to do that wonderful squeezed boobs together gun firing thing that brighted up many a cold winter evening by the Wing fireside.

But no, in the end there was really only one choice... Ever scince Shatner retired as Captain James Tiberius Kirk there has only been one swine capable of delivering a withering and halting one liner with such pathos (ham!!!!!).

Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight I am going to be Lt Horatio Caine.

That's the spirit meduck! Nice one Dale.

No restrictions on entries either. But check out the construction which should help. I don't suppose this comp will get you all moist/hard (whichever end is applicable), but there's a fine stick awaiting for the right answer me hardies

This is an opportunity to consider not only what we smoke, but how it's made, which is taken for granted: cut the end off and burn, baby, burn.

It'll run for a week or so, to keep you in suspenders.

CJ, it may interest you to know that Deano and I spent a good time last night talking to Sam who invented the Nub brand and he described himself as a "Cigar Geek"

He said that he used to deconstruct Cigars, exactly as you have done. He took all this knowledge and went to Nicaragua and other countries to learn about different tobaccos and then started rolling the Nub in his garage.

So you could see this the start of a whole new career!

Sssshh. The wife keeps telling me to get quotes for the garage, and I keep forgetting. Mind you, if I had one, I'm not sure if I'd be rolling my Nub in it

But seriously, we fire 'em up and stub 'em out. There's a heap of work goes into constructing the various sizes ans shapes. I'm not of geek stature, but was interested to see what went into "one of our beauts" (Robusto, The May Workout Competition, 2009, pg1).
To be continued Nic as we're out for nibbles.

I'll update about the prize tomorrow, when I've been down my local stockist. It'll be a nice stick
I'm eyeing this up after a humdinger of a gig.
It's my come-down moment with Yeo Valley organic apricot yogurt.

I've been looking at these leaf pics and all those creases through my stage sweat and I've decided this is GILF cigar porn.

Now I'm off to bed after some Sainsbury's extra mature cheddar to dwell on what I've seen here.

                              You've been bamboozled, mateys

                              Mates, Dudes, and Amigos,

I sorry to report, but senor shyster is running a scam. Clearly the tabacco leaves shown in the pictures are from the infamous counterfeit - The R&J Perfecto Edicion Limitada 05.

And I should know, I have two resting comfortably in my humidor. A special thanks to senor Goldencigars, and those other two guys for exposing the fraud.

Nice try, senor CJ, but no fine Habana puro for you.

After all, I'm TJ, TJCoro Dang It! And I know fakes when I seen 'em.
