About 4 years ago i smoked a couple of Saint Luis Rey Regios while on holiday.

For some reason I was thinking about them today and I could not remember how they smoked; if they were like partagas, Bolivar, or perhaps not as strong.

Does anyone have them in their humidor, or tried them recently?

I had one a few weeks ago and like the rest of the SLR range, I'm not a big fan. Sharp, too peppery and to be honest - acrid. Just MHO though...I know the aficionados love them but just not for me......

Senor Stevieboy! What a sharp looking lad you are (based on avatar). Looks like you need a few more years in the humi, though.

      ID please.

Names TJ, TJCoro, and I'm just kiddin' with one of the fourm's finest.

LOL!! It's a UK "comedian" called Karl Pilkington, a mentee of Ricky Gervais

A bit off topic; I haven't tried a Regios but last Thursday I had a beautiful SLR Petit Corona from 1993. Full bodied with rich leather, earth and spice flavors and a creamy texture.

If I could compare the flavors with another mareva, that would be the Partagas Mille Fleurs. I was pleasantly surprised and I'll have to try a few more vitolas from this brand.

Thanks for the feedback guys, i think I will have to draw up a short list of Robustos that iv`e not smoked for a while and take it from there.
