  • Hello again, my first review from first shop!

I am back with real review as asked, I go to Hajenius on Saturday before lunch and I wear not T shirt so not to be different to other customers!

I buy some Cigars with help from shop man, who much old but speak kindly with help.

I buy, a El Ray De Mundo NL No.1, which man say is special for my country, this cost 15 euro.
I also buy 3 Partagas D No.4s which man say is best good little (I think not so little) cigar! This cost 10 euro.
And i final buy a Cohiba Behike 54, which is big round and has beutiful labels shiny seal. This cost 35 euro
    I stop buy and
shop man give me good deal on cigar cutter for 2 euro, is nice with shop picture.

Many people in shop all in fancy wear, much money I think!! But not me (Boo!)

I stop in other shop and buy lighter by USA Zippo (I always like these American much) fuel and Bottle of Scottish Bells whisky and all money gone now but no worry rent and bill paid!

Last night I try one of Partags Cigar first and nervous, I pour big whiskey and smell in garden.

    8:10PM
    1) Cigar Smell is good like leather & wood things.
    2) Lights easy and first drawing smooth but good.
    3) Taste not so good at first and smell of lighter bit.
    4) It go out on one corner and I relight and smell more fuel.
5 Is better after while but much smoke
    6) Cigar make me feel spinning and sick so I open tent front up.
    7) Is more better with air.
    8) Nice smoking now tastes of good tobaco
    9) Feel little sick so stop about end.

Is very good nice taste but wswallow make dizzy, I will try differnt cigar on Monday so feel better then.

I say 6/10, you agree forum members?

    Goodbye

Hi Jan, you bought some decent cigars there, well done. You should try as many different cigars until you find the perfect ones for you. Half the fun is smoking your way through the choice available. Try not to inhale, may be difficult for you as a cigarette smoker but its not advisable with cigars.

Don't use the Zippo matey, petrol (fuel) is not good for cigars ..

You can get butane insert for the zippo which work well if you like the styling.

+1. Good effort Jan and very good cigars, though I thought you were going to start with something cheaper. Buying that Behike is like climbing a ladder from the top, I've only ever smoked a 52, so you'll be ahead of me. The feeling 'sick' and spinning head is something that has happened to all of us at sometime. Next time you smoke a cigar have something sweet ready. A sugary drink like Coca-Cola won't cure the feeling, but it will help.

The guys are also right about the lighter fuel. A cheap box of 'long' matches might have been better for you.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Nice review You've got some nice smokes there and hours of enjoyment. I'm not sure it was that wise of the shop keeper to sell you Partagas D 4's as some of your first cigars though...no wonder you were spinning!! And the Behike....congrats, I haven't tried one yet, but have a 56 in the humi...but I'm +1 with Tippexx.....premature ejacul...erm...top of ladder...ah what tippexx said.

I like the idea of the portable man cave. I have the z plus insert in my zippo and it works ok, but I think I prefer my ?3 jet lighter off eBay as its easier to cover the foot completely

I'd actually rate most PSD4s slightly higher than a 6/10 but boxes of late can be hit & miss. Welcome to UKCF & thanks for the review computerised tent abode man (Don't ash on the air mattress as you may puncture it).
What would I know? I'm just a backwoods roo packin crim from New Holland! LOL. (Thankyou El Cat)

Bells? What's wrong with Bells, not the best I know but still Blair Athol. As for the rest.

Petrol lighter. Yes, I did that (and a Yankee Candle once) until I learned better.
Tent? Has me confused with that. Tent is Tent in Dutch.
D4 ? 6/10 is too high a mark IMO (I don't care for them at all) Sorry!

I am different to that opinion?

Some here nice some not but that life, I try my best and as said by all members introduce myself and not talk cigarettes.
Then I make real review as asked which seem some like and some not, but still some men very rude and say I spoof, which I true understand but may be liar, I am not liar, why I lie about buying so small group cigars, some think I not have enough money!!! Rude?

I am worrying that I should not have put my picture as my friend say it may be race and some here not like colour people? May because I am not old like some here, if no please say?

I am sad that some here think I am fool in shop but other think not, I buy best for money, no? I try now to buy gas lighter for cigar but shop not take zippo away (Boo!)
I buy cheap lighter on journey back today.

I will be smoking another cigar this night but not sure if I should keep writing here so people are rude to me? If it English, I try again but one member speak Dutch to check?

What is wrong about smoke in tent? Father not say any smoke in house (Boo!) so I smoke in garden, it is small but stop rain but smell after smoke!

What is wrong in Bells whisky it is scottish, and my mother grandfather (gone) drink with cigar all life! No.1 whisky in Scotland! I Like some, if you not like SO?

I have member advice joined a Dutch forum and talk some, they are nice and some not white people I'm sure. I sure if your English join this forum, I would not be rude back!!!

I wished to keep here and learn from more cigar smokers but if not wished here just say cleanly and I will not write more.

                            thank you

                              Hi Ilovesilkcut.

I think that some members are just a bit wary because internet trolls are not uncommon and your first few posts about cigarettes were unusual by the standards of this forum. Sometimes malicious posters join up just to wind people up or to sell fake cigars, so please forgive us for sometimes being cynical about new members.

I'm sure that no-one here has a problem with your race. There are forum members who are not white and they are treated with the same respect as everyone else. I for one would not want to be part of a forum that tolerated racism. Stick around and people will see that you're a genuine poster and will start being a lot more friendly.

Some forum members are whisky aficionados and might look down on Bells as it's not a single malt. Personally I think that it's a perfectly acceptable blend, but then I don't claim to be a whisky connaisseur (rum is my spirit of choice!)

I would advise you to try a range of Cuban cigars before you buy Behikes. Behikes are very expensive and it's likely that you'll find other cheaper cigars that suit your tastes. I find that long matches are good for lighting cigars. They're cheap and work well as long as you allow the sulphur to burn off before lighting.

Finally, I'd suggest that you avoid smoking in a tent. It will get filled up with smoke and sitting in that environment is likely to make it difficult to breathe. This might have contributed to you feeling dizzy and sick.
