JL2 with a special box code.

Picked up a 25 cab of JL2 from December 2011. These are special because this was the month and year my daughter was born. Back on 18th December 2011 she arrived to brighten up our lives. I thought I would pick up a box to keep and age with her. Anyway here are some pics.

Steve - I think PB should make his daughter smoke one in each year of her birth month.

Joking aside - that is a cool thing to do. Will they continue to improve with age or will there come a point when they all need smoking as they will start to decline in quality?

I think I might have one this year on her first to see how they smoke. Then give them a few years and have another go.

They are well stored to should be good for some time. I got the impression age was a good thing but I guess we will have to see. I like the idea of sparking one up when she is 18!

I once saw the idea of every year smoking one of the sticks while writing in a journal about your daughters year. Then when she turns 18/21 you give her the journal and the rest of the box. Thought it was a nice idea.

Great choice! Recently been getting into JL2's after picking up some in a forum sale.
I like this idea of finding special box codes, I have some Jul-10 Trinni Rob T's and Rob Extras to smoke around my wedding anniversary each year.

I'm hoping to find some May-12's boxes to celebrate my nippers birth...

Such a wonderful idea and a great choice of cigar! I'd love to do this but I'd be looking for September 2000 and I don't see that happening somehow
