Next years (2013) Reviews project.

A little previous as I haven't finished with this years Lonsdales yet, but I was thinking maybe of doing a series on 38 gauge 152/166mm (Laguito No2/Parjero).

From the humi I can do the following Cubans:-

Montecristo Especiales No 2
Cohiba Coronas Especiales
Vaqueros Especiales No 2
HdM La Hoyo du Dauphin
Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No 2
Partagas Charlottes
La Escepcion Selectos Finos

It would be nice to review a CC Davidoff No 1, but I think that's out of the question.


I would like to get a few NC in the size range. But not knowing much about them can so far only find one example.

If anyone can make a few NC suggestions it would be appreciated and I'll try to get hold of them. I think Mainstream in preference to Boutique brands would be best.

hey arf,
there was a padron i got off gary when i joined, a maduro thing that was around 38RG and about 6" long! it was very nice for an NC! i asked him what it was, he couldn't remember! i'll do some research for you.....

with the exception of the davidoff (?17) and possibly the tatuaje, i can't imagine them being too expensive! however they may be difficult to source in the UK!

No, I think I have all the Cubans I'm going to get Monk.

There were some others. Hoyo de Monterrey Odeon, Siboney Especiales, Diplomaticos No 7 .... but I reckon the chances of finding singles would be zero to nothing.
