I've got a 7" extractor fan in my study (10ft x 9ft). I wish I'd got a 12" fan to make the removal of smoke quicker and less of a strain on the 7" one.

I installed a 7 inch radon extraction fan in my workshop, where I do all my smoking. It's quiet, has three speed settings, and most importantly they aren't very expensive. It has been running for a lot of years without issue. The only problem is you have to drill a hole through the wall to extract the smoke to the outside.

The purifyers are supposed to be really good. They neutralise the smoke so it doesn't smell. I haven't used one so it could just be marketing hype but the reviews seem good

I have to say that I went out to my shed this morning having sat out there smoking a little Fuente that came to me in a swap with James A, while I chatted on Skype with the Mexicant, and it smelled bloody wonderful.

Have you thought about getting a smoking shed?

saves all the hassle, leave it all outside the house.

Yes but it's damn cold in the winter were i am, and the hassle of running wires electric to it is another thing.
The things you posted, are the type of thing i'm looking for.
Just looking at all the options i have.....

I have one and they really do work. I'm not sure they're any better than a bog-standard ozone generator bought off eBay for 1/4 the price though. When this one packs in (and it will...I'm on my 2nd) I'll maybe buy a cheap eBay one to see if its as good

please don't buy an ozone generator. They are incredibly bad for human health... extensive studies done at the university show this, ozone should be limited to the upper atmosphere!

Would it be possible to Filter the smoke through some kind of medium like activated Charcoal, (i was going to be a Bell End and put Peat, but I think I have exhausted that one). In room filtering would be better I think as you would not lose the warmth of the room to the outside.
Would a room full of plants work ?.

Ditto. Plus, extraction is always going to be more effective than cloaking (speaking of which, those globe things that you fill with water and scented oil are very good).
