    A quick review for a quick smoke;
Cuban, Gauge 26, Length 115mm, UK cost ?5.99
Out of humidor 72% Rh 22 `C, After lunch, drinking water, 31`C 80%rh
Appearance\construction; Seems well made, stick slightly springy, no soft or hard spots, light tobacco odours.

    front.jpg

    Pre draw loose and mild.

1\3; An easy draw yielded plenty of cool smoke, with a slight harshness on retro-hale, muted spice and woody flavours, ash fell at 1\2 inch.

2\3; Continuing to be an easy if slightly harsh smoke, burn is good, flavours still seem a touch light.

3\3; Harshness has now gone leaving some woodiness and spice, burn and draw have been consistently good, smoked to an inch after 25 minutes.

Conclusion; After reading other reviews I expected a few issues with this one, to be fair I had none. Think this probably best for a quick lunchtime smoke, not to demanding of attention, the price seems high for what it is especially when compared to a Del Mundo Demi Tasse. Cannot say I would buy again, but would not condemn it either.

An honest appraisal Dave .... and far more successfully smoked than I managed. Only ever had one (from a CGars Sampler) it was so plugged it could have been hammered into a plank. Never bothered again.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

C'Gars samplers don't seem to be fairing very well on quality according to recent posts...perhaps the samplers are C'gars way of shifting slow & inadequate stock..just a thought...

Nothing will ever beat picking your own sticks/boxes but not everyone has that choice.

I have returned/had replaced several cigars that were clearly bad. I always say if you are unhappy with a cigar tell the retailer, you may be presently surprised by their response.

I know what you're saying..but!..they're supposed to be the experts...why send out a clearly bad cigar in the first place!
A good response is no answer to poor service..much like price matching they only give the cheapest price when asked & only give top quality after your complaint..they are not your friends & never will be..they just want to maximise profit...as all businesse's do!

If we know they 'were clearly bad' when sent out then I 100% agree.

The cigars I have sent back over the years looked fine just didn't smoke.

I've got the last 1/2" of a Monte sublime '08 still in the ashtray, wonder if they'd replace it if I sent it back & said it was shite....

Truth is a lot of shite doesn't get complained about or taken back whether to Tesco, Gap, Selfridges or CGars .... some sort of English embarrassment I guess!
If you want to, you can.

I have before with retailers I have a relationship with. They didn't want the half-stick back but did want my future business. However I think probably reasonable after a year or two it is my problem, not theirs.

That's the cigar retailers biggest ever get out clause...they were fine when you bought them..must have been your storage....
