  • New job (again)

Some of you may recall that I got a job in the summer which didn't work out. After 5 months and a lot of effort, I have found a job! And even better, it's in Edinburgh so not only do I get to move on from the parents house, but I get to move to the lovely city of Edinburgh.

Looks like I will be starting early March, so will be moving up there just before.

Celebratory cigar will be when I get paid (unless I can scrape together a few pennies that I won't need for moving costs).

Your diligence paid off, well done mate. The first whiff of that celebratory stick will be sweet indeed

Well Daniel, you'll only be 60 miles from my shack in the Northumbrian hills so maybe we can get together with some other stout northern folk for our own herf. Congratulations on the new job - Edinburgh is a fine city in which to live and work - one of the best.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Let me know if you find any great cigar friendly places up there as me and the ball and chain try to get up at least once a year!

The Hotel du Vin has a nice cigar hut, and I've been told of a couple of other places - will of course do a reccy.
