Saw an interesting article on the Top Gear website earlier in the week (link below) about what it took for Noble (small, UK based supercar maker, for those who are not petrol heads) to get its car certified for sale in the EU. Whilst reading, keep in mind that Nobles production figures are in the single digits per year!

Absolutely Deano, living in Belgium, I can assure you they just pick & mix what laws they take on the their books, if they do, they will decide how best to intepret the law in there best interest & which ones of those they then actually enforce.
Health & Safety, it's a joke over here & all the EU rules come for Brussels but a few miles down the road & they have never heard of Safety Glasses, hard hats, ear duffs & barriers.
