  • Back in time for the Big Smoke.

Finally back after a fair ol' absence, I managed to stick to getting a holiday in oop north to Islay for a week and then Pitlochry for the second week.

A stunning trip which included lots of distillery tours/tastings, some great walks, watching Ospreys in their natural habitat and seeing a Wee Highland Festival one night while scoffing on a fish supper.

Numerous cigars were sacrificed to the cause, as were many drams of the nectar.

As to the whisky haul that made it home, they include:

    Bowmore Small batch reserve.
    Dalmore Valour 1L
    Dalmore 15 yr
    Dalmore Millennium Edition.
    Edradour Cask Strength
Signatory Vintage Caol Ila 24 yr.
Signatory Vintage Highland Park 20 yr
    Tomatin 12 yr

On another note, I met a young chap at the Ardbeg tour who lives in Hong Kong, he is about to open a whisky/cigar bar which sounds like it has great potential, they are just hunting for premises.
