Yeah we get hundreds a week, I clear them out about once a week - they pop up in the username list but they're not auth'd

I get to see all the enquiries that we get on the work website, the volume that are bots and just input nonsense is just mad. Some of them are quite funny in a way, but still...

It's a real shame the problem you guys must be having with Spammers. I hope it calms down because it made the joining process ever so slightly tedious when you keep getting your account deleted before authorisation.
I totally understand why though so no complaints from me.

Perversely the act of me repeatedly re-registering could be construed as a form of spamming in and of itself lol

anyway I'm glad I finally wore you down enough to let me in

It's become insane. You can see the amount the anti-spam plug-ins block on the front page, but 100s a day get through. If I go away for a few days or forget to do it, it is almost impossible to see real people from the bots.

Happened to my account denied at first. Deano must be chocker with all randoms pain in the arse why people would be bothered setting bot or spamming accounts up
