I've put a bit of effort into our modest garden this year and the work has delivered some great colourful beds to enjoy after work. It has paid off.

I realise I've become a garden cigar man. A pleasant hour spent enjoying what's outside. Peace. Solitude. Reflection. I love it.

As I sit and blow Havana air, I realise I look like a couple of my French heros. Claude Monet and Gustave Flaubert.

    Are you interested in gardening?

And when you smoke a cigar in your garden, who do you look like?

My gardening is out of necessity and upkeep I think Bryan, although I do enjoy the outdoor space when it is looking tidy. I like potted acers, figs and the ever creeping strawberry patch where the our boys linger each summer, eager to pick anything vaguely pink. I'm unsure as to who I look like when schmoking out back, but he often has to squeeze one in.

my garden technically died. the bushels of parsley has turned into various sticks. My multitudes of sage (purple and regular) have now turned into one regular sage and one purple sage.
My oregano however, is fluorishing like no one's business. but it's time for the harvest soon and when i reap (no pun) the benefits of nice organic chicken.

overall, i am very depressed whilst in the garden.. Maybe a good reason why i spend all MY time smoking and drinking in there too

Quiet you. At least here, I can plant parsley and have it grow a moose

I enjoy spreading out on the grass, looking up through the trees... and knocking off a good Robusto.
