Jusr got a delivery of New pipe stuff this morning.

These two are a Bent Bob and an Ogden's 100 Years with a tin of Gawith Black Cherry: DSC_0353.jpg

Excellent stuff. Are you new to the pipe smoking and these are your first pipes?

Very nice! My plan is to sort a few baccies and then to investigate new pipes. My little H. Simmonds is ace but I need a bigger bowl. My father has another I may steal, no idea what it is but well smoked. Will see.

Thanks, I have been with the pipe for about a year now and have been smoking a small corncob and a couple very cheap no brand briar's over that time. I have been happy with them but wanted to extend the collection. I had restored an old pipe that belonged to my great grandfather which I found along with a box of the tobacco he used to grow and process himself which must be over 50 years old.
The estates were just pocket change purchases on that auction site and the Meerschaum was something I have wanted for a bit... Hopefully soon to be followed by a Churchwarden and a Calabash.

Meerschaum pipes are great...they smoke incredibly dry and never sour. Proper Calabash pipes with a meerschaum bowl and gourd expansion chamber smoke dry, cool, and flavoursome. Good choices!
