I was in Aston's in Manchester today (lovely new shop by the way....) and i spotted 2 brand new sealed copy's of the MRN book....

Anyway there's one copy left if anyone's interested.
I have been after this book for a while and have finally got my hands on one. I have to say it's a wonderful book.
I think they discovered them whilst moving shops, i can't see the other copy lying around for long so if you're interested i'd get a wiggle on.

Bought one a few years ago in Dublin and ashamed to say have only look at it probably twice, although its still an amazing book that every cigar lover should own!

2nd edition due out at some stage soon I think, will be several volumes from what I have read.

i'm sure you can place your order on Amazon for the new 2nd edition or camp outside waterstones all night......

I have been putting off buying the first edition for years now waiting on the second, looking imminent now (but we have been saying that for the last year). Well worth all serious smokers reading the first few chapters, after that is is a fantastic reference book.

If you find a copy of the original book at anything near original price, i.e. < ?100, buy it.
Take a look at the prices for it on Amazon.
Regardless of price, no other book on cigars comes close, yet.

when you see the price of the version due to come out in the near future you might think twice. I have heard it will be north of 3000 Euro.

To be clear we don't know the new price. Last I heard it looks like there will be two versions. A very, very highy quality version and a slightly lower quality version for a more accessible market.

The costs are because this is a limited run book being put together with an incredibly high standard of photography, print quality and paper stock. My understanding is that MRN is intending to put together (from a technical quality point of view) one of the finest reference books in the world. This is his passion and baby and he is funding it himself so the price will be the price.
