Went into the cigar shop in selfridge's today

Great selection though mostly ridiculous prices. An aged esplendido caught my eye and i splashed out. 2002 I think was the year. The aged cigars were all JJ fox's stock. Funnily enough all the aged cigars were priced the same as normals. Anyway, was just checking the vitola on it:





Is this an older genuine cohiba vitola? Very different to the modern ones

Hi Lascaux! Aye, that's the previous version of the Cohiba band. it should say La Habana, Cuba. From 2003 onwards, the bands became gold embossed and the word 'La' was dropped and an extra 5th line of dots was added...bet it wasn't cheap
