  • Monti No4 storage question

I have been offered a label sealed box of Monticristo No 4 about 3 - 4 years old.
They have been stored in a cupboard.
Will they be ok, or should I pass.
The price is reasonable and I know where they came from and are genuine.

If they've been in a cupboard and not in a humi, the chances are they might be knackered ie dry and flavourless!?!? Open the box first, smoke one then pay if you like it!?!?

If they have been stored without any type of RH regulation I would say they are past it. They could possibly be rehydrated but all the natural oils will have been lost and the flavour along with it

Respectfully pass I reckon Eggle. They'll be buggered probably. Were they the ones advertised on here yesterday out of curiosity?
Stevie's advice is sound, if the chap'll let you dip in.

          Such a waste.

Such a waste, but I would most definitely pass. They didn`t stand a chance.

The only reasonable price for these would be free. Even then I still might pass. Go Pens.
