    Vitola: Toro
    Size: 6x50
    Wrapper: Claro (via Plasencias)
Filler: Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama tobaccos

    Binder: Honduran and Nicaraugan

Well....I'd really been looking forward to having this stick gifted to me by Pandyboy (probably just because of the hype and also curious to see how the candela smoked)

Sat in the park after work with a mini bottle of Glenfiddich 15.
I punched the sick as I could see the wrapper was pretty dry and already cracks were appearing before I did a thing.
First impressions were that it was pretty bland.
Middle third became quite smooth and reasonably enjoyable.
Last third again drifted away to be quite bland again.
Only note I picked up was a slight hint of a kind of green tea, grass taste (probably more on my lips from the wrapper)

As I smoked the wrapper became very cracked and was peeling off.
Ash fell after an inch and a half.

Would I try this stick again. Nope. Quite disappointing.

As I mentioned I do thank Duncan for this stick. 63752-Happy-St-Patricks-Day.gif

Didn't drop it on the grass did you? That might explain the taste!

That might have made it taste more interesting actually.

Construction.... Awful, is it made of paper?

When I cut the end, loose tobacco flew out like dust... I kept it in a tupperdor with all my other NC's and none have ever done this before? WTF

Pre light is weak tea. Post light is like mild cut grass and mild tobacco.

Plenty of smoke and getting a bit earthy.

Still grassy earth, is this a subconscious thing because it's green? And some how I took one draw that literally tasted of nothing.... There was no flavour what so ever, I'm not sure how this is even possible.

My construction was fine even after a vicious fight to get the paper off. Did crack slightly at 2/3s but nothing major.

Pre light tasted nice and tea like but once lit was bland all the way to the final third till it became a rich sweet green tea and then it was all over. Did leave a pleasant taste on my lips from the wrapper though.

Last years was much better in my eyes. Disappointed.

Hahaha, I can relate to the vicious fight!

Everyone I've had has been like that and each time I think it'll be different and try and slide it off. I don't learn, it's wishful thinking
