  • Ageing Rooms Presto (I think)

Smoked this a little while ago now actually but only just got around to putting this up.

Very musty smell dark smooth wrapper. Light draw and heavy must taste on cold draw

Lit easily and evenly, lovely white ash, lots of smoke. Same heavy flavours, heavy woods with a hint of leather and nut. Over powering wood though. Very strong taste. Need to take two/three puffs to get smoke though. Very uneven burn. Despite constant correction, I think it stemmed from a split in the wrapper/binder when lit.

Tried to show the variance in the burn with this picture.

Stayed the same all the way through, mellowed slightly in the last third. Quite harsh from start to finish. Easily smoked to the last 1/2 inch then it got hot. Massive N kick right at the end. Not that taken by it, not sure why it received such high praise.

Worth a try if you like strong tastes not sure I'll be buying another any time soon.

Maybe a packing issue on that one mate with poor burn and fee puffs to get smoke

Maybe mate but Marc said he had burn issues with his as well so I don't know. I do have the big one sat in my humi as well but I suspect that's been ruined when my humi ruined a few a whole ago bit I may get round to it one day

I really liked the one of these I had a while back. I remember before lighting it it smelt like a spice rack.
Want to try more ageing rooms.

Sad to say that burn issues don't surprise me one bit. I would love to give them more tries due to potential for great flavour..... Shitty burn pisses me off though and the AR cigars I have tried have had the most shit burn of any, so I will spend my money elsewhere.

Yup, and I mention a tear in the foot I'm pretty sure that appeared once I'd lit it as well as I hadn't seen it prior. I also don't really like the flavour. God knows what the fuss is about
