  • CAO Traviata

Long time no posts from me - but finally got back on to post a quick review and have a bit of a look around!

Picked up a box of the traviata a in Madrid last year - just getting round to them now after working my way through lots of full bodied smokes.

It's a box of 24, 52 pyramid and the pre light draw and smell is woody but mild. Lighting was straight forward and it's burning evenly with no touch ups needed. I've been a fan of the fuller smokes this last 12 months and I would describe this as a light to medium for me. I didn't expect much from it but I've been impressed. First third was woody, smooth and very satisfying (ling day moving a rockery meant I was ready for a treat!)

The draw is easy and there are plumes of lightly fragranced wood. Second third is more of the same but with a deeper taste - really enjoyable summer smoke - seems to be hitting all the right spots for me.

Sounds lovely, though given it's CAO there was every chance.

Nice review and good to see you getting back into the forum with a bang. I'll give the CAO Traviata a go. I have some CAO cigars to try including a X2 I think it's called.
