So my phone contract is up and need to pick a new phone. Currently have a samsung S4, any recommendations. Really don't like iPhones so don't want one of those. Thanks

The new moto x possibly, or nexus 6 (or whatever they call it).
Very little bloatware on moto or nexus lines.

If your willing to wait I would check out the nexus 6, but that's probably not out until November

If not your choices are HTC one (m8) or the new Sony z3

i really think in my view you should get a iphone to talk on and you can face-time with people in the same view.

I have a iPad that i can FaceTime on, I just don't like the way iPhones work and I hate iTunes.

The S4 is a great phone no problems with operating system and touchwiz is easy to use, although I don't use the tap and tilt functions. The battery life could be a little better. Thankfully orange dont seem to have messed with the software too much, i also had it unlocked for a princely sum of ?4.

If battery life's important to you without rooting, I'd go for the moto x in a heart beat.

its not so much that battery life is important, its more that the battery now only lasts half a day. I have just been looking at the moto x the new one is out anytime now from what i saw. I like the leather back.
