  • Large scale humidification

    Eventing folks

I'm wondering what peoples advice for some fairly large scale humidification is. I have 206 Litres3 too humidify, it's separated into 4 partially compartmentalized sections by no means sealed but not free flowing. I'd rather not have to have 4 lots of humidification (one for each shelf) but if that's the most cost effective way of doing it so be it.

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

I bought the large Xiklar tub meant for (I think) 250 cigars and don't rate it. Going to Boveda packs instead. The multiples box u get for about 40 dollars should be plenty?

                The calculator reckons on 24oz.7
Although I have that amount split over three shelves in a slightly smaller area - Keeps it perfectly.
Personally, if you have four separate areas, go for 4 bags of half a pound and you'll be good to go

Roughly how often do the beads need recharging? I've not had much luck with beads in the past

Depends how often I open the lid. From a couple of weeks to couple of months. Stick with Boveda

I add water to my heartfelt beads about once a month, you just add water so much easier than boveda for me. Though HCM beads are different as you charge them like bovedas

I'm in the testing stage of something Ed, I will talk to you about it offline and you can help me test it.

                          It's looking promising though.
