Been trying to get off since Monday & still stuck onboard. Might be here until Fri morning when there's a brief window before it's due to start increasing again for the afternoon. So if I don't get lucky I might not get home until Sat or Sun!
Undercover & Trickle, sorry but I'll have to cancel our mini herf if you don't hear from be by midday tomorrow. I have to cancel the hotel then to save losing my deposit so I'll wait until then, just in case we are in limits & another installations isn't, then we could be brought fwd. So check your messages before leaving for our venue.
Anybody else affected by last nights blow? We have quite a few Scottish members on here these days.

Aye Wigan, 120miles due East of Aberdeen.

I was on night shift and we are in Altens, so near the coast and the top of a hill. Was noticeably colder with a bit of frost about. Fairly nippy wind now I think back but nothing major. Well not for up here anyway. Saying that if its had 120 miles to burn itself out it must be mad where your are. Feel sorry for you stuck at sea because of it

I wouldn't wear just a T shirt in an Aberdeen office in the summer, that AC will kill you! Don't worry it's not that were are moving so bad, just bad enough to stop the choppers from landing; now they are enforcing the limits more strictly than they used too. Which has to be a good thing, just doesn't stop it being frustrating all the same.
