Wound what to the hot Sean? You don't usually have a thermostat for the bath supply.

My advice is that bollocks its not up to the landlord to sort. Withhold rent until he does as required!

The only thermostat you should have is in your hot water cylinder or if it's a combi boiler in the boiler control panel which is the landlords responsibility if it's faulty

No i no the landlord does pay but our baby cant get showers so luke warm isnt good till she can sort it. Its not so much a thermostat but a anti scald valve fitted on all the new builds here that can be adjusted to stop people burning themselves why u want a warm bath i will never no

Add a kettle of water to the bath to get the temp up for the baby and stick to showers yourself. Once you have started ducking around with fixing something they are going to blame you for it being broke. Stay away from it.

Jokes aside, you shouldn't do any free work for your landlord. I fitted our kitchen for ours for free and increased the rental value. As thanks she increased our rent. Request an engineer be sent as an urgency, if they don't do it get one in and deduct the invoice from the rent.

So next time, call the landlord and just have a beer for doing that.
