Smoking is good for you! Official!

According to new findings in the US smoking may actually help reduces your chances of developing lung cancer....well kinda......in a roundabout way.

Research has shown that oxygen triggers lung cancer. Yes you read that correctly now even breathing is bad for us. So puff away the less cigar and pipe smoke your taking in the less oxygen your getting!

Everything carcinogenic is THOUGHT to induce cancer.

The most likely candidates for 'cancer causing agent' is the free-radical oxygen. But limiting oxygen concentration is not a good solution. Lung cancer isn't something to fear day to day. We shouldn't be worried too much unless you're a cigarette/ inhaling smoker.
Oxygen deprivation means less energy. I'd much rather take my slightly increased chances of oxygen than lack oxygen (ergo energy) like a few Peruvian tribes who use slight infusions of cocaine tea to solve their problems.

And once again butters kills the joke by trying to show off!
And coca leaf tea is great stuff, had it climbing the Inka trail, very good for altitude sickeness. (Legal over there in unrefined form).

I had plenty of this stuff whilst over there despite tasting like crap I'm not sure there was a discernible improvement In my altitude sickness. There could well have been but I was so ill from it I may just have been too far gone haha

The porters chewing the leaves all day long certainly explains how they can run up the trail carrying heavy bags!

I honestly didn't know it was a joke and thought we were going to have a discussion on that news article, hahaha.
Since when do you know me to be a party pooper?

Very nice there. I myself have tried the leaves, too. Tingles very nice in your mouth.
Needs some practice before you can even put 4 leaves at once...

When did you climb the Inka trail? Must've been gorgeous!

Maybe that's what I needed to do haha! God I hated altitude sickness!

If you get chance butters you must go and see it. It's truly a sight to behold! Eerily quiet but very relaxing. I could have sat there all day and soaked it up (that and aforementioned altitude sickness meant walking 20 yards was an ordeal let alone hiking up huayna pichu)

I would love to try chewing leaves, people use it all over the world and have done for thousands of years.
