I'm just finding it harder and harder to watch the news , the younger botl won't probably remember decent news broadcasting , but even the BBC news is becoming utter shite , im watching mode ans more CNN , al jazeera , France eng, cnc world . The british News channels don't seem to broadcast decent world news anymore and don't even seem able to broadcast decent domestic news either.
Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy [emoji35]

When I have access to a TV with an aerial, something I don't at home, I usually watch Russia today.
Just as controlled and biased as ours is regardless of what is said but its good to get a contrast

If you want to think ours is good - watch Fox News.
One of the most interesting News sources I've found is The Young Turks network on youtube....

Young Turks are very good, I enjoy their work immensely. Al Jazeera and France 24 I find to be good also.

All Jazeera appear to be fairly more thought our than others. Though I haven't followed them closely for a few years.

+1 on that, some great documentaries/ investigative journalism.

                  RT also a good one.

I hardly watch the news on TV anymore.
Should watch the headlines at least...

Think the daily papers are the same stop buying them years ago.
No different to the news except instead of listning we read it.

Yup. We don't report 'news' any more, we sell 'stories' 24/7.

The days of impartial editorial policy (if there ever were such a think) are history.

The only way to get some kind of balanced picture is to read copy across the media from multiple sources and draw your opinion somewhere in the middle.

Or maybe an app with credible news?
