No smoking outdoors?

Bristol are apparently trialling outdoor smoking bans. Is it getting to the point of total ostracism for smokers? I don't consider myself a smoker as such, but I feel I have a human right to consume tobacco if I see fit.

I don't smoke cigarettes (and never have) and even I think this is going too far. I especially dislike the idea of it being 'voluntary' and self-policing. This is just creeping control over what people can do.

Be in our back garden next neighbours won't like the smell of tobacco if they don't smoke.

Will they also ban gambling/drinking in the same way? Every other advert these days is for gambling it seems. Abuse of gambling wrecks lives and its allowed to continue full steam ahead.

Cigar smokers are already treated the same as cigarette smokers, an injustice that pisses me off no end!
