Just taken delivery of my first tins of tobacco.

I'm not going to smoke the pipe too often. Probably just the odd bowl when I am away
fishing. After reading reviews, I decided to kick it all off with these two:






I just need to work out how to get the bloody lids off now.

Lol, I couldn't open my first tin because it was vacuum sealed. No one told me you have to stick something in a little slot to let air in.

If you are only going to smoke every now and then , store your tobacco out of the tin in a storage jar , otherwise it will dry out extremely quickly

You may have trouble johnny smoking the grousemoor unless you dry it out for an hour or so
stopped buying the samuel gawiths tobacco's for this reason too moist for me
when to moist all you do is keep lighting the tobacco puffing away to keep the tobacco lit and the tobacco becomes harsh.
Let me know what you think when you open the tin.

A suggestion for wetter tobacco , take a bowl full out of jar lay on a kitchen towel and leave it for half hour or so as you get more experienced you'll get a feel for the pinch test

looks great, I just got a few of those jars at our local pound shop.. bigger and cheaper than the supermarkets version
