If I'd stuck with my first pipe, I'd never have got any further.
I appreciate the thought, but why would I stop doing something that's making me happy on the off-chance it might not continue to make me happy in the future?
Using that logic I'd never do anything, ever......

I'm bidding on another two on ebay as well
And my sticks are just sat there merrily ageing - without the pesky changes in humidity that opening the doors brings
