I am 21 and I'm an assistant manager at a Tile Retailer. I live with my GF of 3 years and am loving life We have a cat named Lord Earl Grey that is part of the family. Wanted a dog, but the house is too small I also have my own Cigar Forum

I like a wide range of cigars, mostly NCs as the CCs I like are too damned expensive in the UK. When I have the time, I like to enjoy Churchill/Double Corona sized cigars, although time very rarely permits it. So I usually smoked Robustos or Corona Gordas. I started smoking cigars because I thought it looked "cool". Smoked one and the rest is history. I had always loved the smell and didn't realise the taste could be better.

My first real cuban was a Cohiba Siglo I. I had only smoked a couple of NCs before trying this and the Cohiba kicked my arse. I remember thinking to myself why the hell I had put myself through that. My palate has prgoressed and now I enjoy full bodied and stronger cigars.

My most memorable cigar experiences were:

Best Experience - Smoking a Fuente 858 Sun Grown gifted to me by a BOTL in America. It was the finest cigar I have smoked to date and the thought that somewhere across the pond in the US would want to gift a cigar to me, made it all the more enjoyable.

Worst Experience - Fuente Anejo 46 at 10am in the morning on an empty stomach. The cigar was fantastic and I would not hesitate to have another, but don't ever smoke one so early on in the day. I won't describe what happened, bt it wasn't pretty

    My favourite cigars:

NC - Padron '26 Maduro, Tatuaje Cojonu '03 and '06, Illusione ~68~, Fuente Anejo 49, Fuente 858 SG

CC - Cohiba Sigle VI, Cohiba Esplendidos, RASS, HdM Epi Especial, Monte #2

I was an immature little *#@* when I was alittle younger, but soon realised the error of my ways. Mostly due to my GF and being able to relax with a good cigar.

It's amazing when you smoke an outstanding cigar for the first time and it raises your benchmark. It stays in your memory of smells and tastes, too.
    Really interesting read, Matt.

It really does raise your benchmark. The NCs I had smoked were not the best to say the least. The Cohiba was really a step up

It was the only brand I recognized when I went into the Cigar Shop (Plus it had shiny gold on the band ). They had no Montecristo (It's not much of a cigar shop ).

I think my first couple of cigars were a Don Ramos and a Cuesta Rey. I wouldn't wish the Don Ramos on anyone, but the Cuesta Rey was pretty good. Haven't had one in a long time though

I have come along way since those days though
