Hi all, new forum member, seen a link to the site on the H&F forums page. Anyway a bit about myself, from Belfast, 29 years old, been into cigars for several years. Favourite sizes are robusto, coronas and torpedos with favourite brands being (cuban) Cohiba, Montecristo, Bolivar & Ramon Allones as well as (non-cubans) Opus X, Aston VSG and Don Pepin Garcia.

Anyway, that will do for starters, glad to be here!

Usually get all of my Opus X from down in Dublin at the Decent Cigar Emporium, any time I've been down they always have a good supply, however the one draw back is that they're 26 Euro each, but sure what the hell, you have to treat yourself sometime right, and I only usually buy a handful at a time. All being well I'll be taking a trip down to Dublin sometime in September or October so maybe pick up another few or some Padrons, will just have to see what's in stock.

                      Twenty-six Euro EACH!

I'm beginning to think you blokes may be waaaaaaay out of my league.

I've smoked Opus X. It's a wonderful cigar. But for ? 26 I can pick up a fistful of cigars which, in total, give me more pleasure than the single X.

But your mileage may vary. To each his own. Different strokes for different folks. You say toe-may-toe, I say toe-mah-toe. One man's meat is another man's poison. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. Loop before you leak. Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend; inside of a dog it's too dark to read. Some mornings it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps.

Uh-oh. Time to take my meds.

Yeah that was the price of an Opus X robusto last time I was do (although bare in mind that Dublin must be one of the most expensive places in Europe if not beyond), seeing the exchange rate between the pound and the Euro is now worse since then they might even be more expensive, although seeing I'll be in the states next year I think I'll wait and pick some up there, hopefully on the cheap, well, cheaper?

Prices of things don't really bother me, not because I'm loaded or anything, Jesus far from it, but if I want something and think the price is worth paying, I'll buy it, what one person thinks is a price worth paying, another does not, that's just the way things are, with everything, I guess something is only worth the price put on it if someone is willing to pay it?
