Hi , just recieved a box of Monte No4's, like many of us i cant resist to smoke one too soon, usually this isn't a good indication of the batch, poor draw etc, How long do you leave them to rest before you lite up ?
Also ive gone for the No 4's as they are a shorter smoke , due to social habits pub restaurant etc.Have you found you need to shorten your smoke time for these reasons. Cheers.

Usually about 30 seconds. Sometimes I can leave it to 40 seconds, but usually 30.

I've now run out of all the old smokes I had while I wasn't smoking too much, now I'm always on new batches. BAD DEANO.

Often smoke them too quick after receiving them myself, but when I can resist I like to leave them a week or so it does make a difference
Do most of my Cigar Smoking at my house or my mates dont usually bother when out in town... Unless I'm Herfing with the Boys

Short smokes I tend to go with San Cristobal El Principle and Ramon Allones Small Club Corona they are my got to cigars for short intervals or carrying in a leather 3 stick case.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Same here. For some reason I fool myself everytime when I'm ordering them in telling myself - "Once they're here I'll leave them rest for a couple of weeks."

On arrival... within an hour I'm lighting one of the poor sticks up...

Many suppliers seem to ship their sticks slightly too moist for my tastes - I usually try and keep mine at least a week. Not always successful mind you
