  • Help needed - Punch Churchill

I've managed to locate a box of tubed Punch Churchills with the date code coinciding with my daughters birthday. Jan 2004.

What are these churchills like ?

What is flavour similar to any help would be greatly appreciated. i don't want a box of 25 that i don't like !

I only ever had one and I enjoyed it. It is milder than a short churchill though. I think I enjoyed the middle more than the beginning and the end. Usually a smoke that I enjoy finishes stronger than it begins and this didn't do that. But then again, the Juan Lopez 2 starts off way better than it finishes and I could smoke those all day. I would say go for it if the price is right.

Can't comment on the cigar itself PoohBore, but that's a nice idea - beats buying LBV Port from the year of birth.

A Deano would say ''A Fecking Decent Cigar'' IMHO...

I love them, bloody good long mild smoke with loads of flavour....

        The last 1/4 is heaven...

Prefer the Monarcas to the Churchills but the Churchill is a fine smooth Cigar learhery tones and a hint of spice Think I've still got some 99's

                Draw.

Had a box a few years ago and unfortunately most of them were badly plugged and the construction itself was poor.
Very dissapointing to be honest, but I am sure that was just a one off box.

The finest cigar i have ever smoked was a punch churchill ('01!).

It depends on the box, but generally:- expect a punch. Rich, mellow spices and sweetness, not much cream or chocolate flavour.
