  • My WIH and Monte Sublimes

    Hey guys,
I've been busy meeting my highschool mates, friends and relatives these days in Beijing, but more importantly, building a mini-walk in humidor in my house and trying to fill it up!

Building a small cigar room was easier and cheaper than I thought, and whenever I feel down, I can get in there, close the door and just be around with my cigars hehe really enjoying it.

My 32 boxes of Monte Sublimes just arrived today and it looks amazing altogether.

Im flying back to London on tuesday and hoping to join the next herf with you guys

    WOW, AMAZING!!!!

Pedro that looks awesome, I am seriously jealous...!!!

Very nice indeed my friend, that little lot puts my collection to shame, I thought I was doing alright with my two boxes of Sublimes, but 32!!! (I think your going to need some help from your BOTL smoking that lot...)

    Once again Pedro - BRILLIANT...

    Green with envy, HabanoSy

Hey Steve, no I don't have a car, and even if I had, it wouldn't be a Porche. and in fact, I've only got a bicycle since I spent all my money on cuban cigars...
damn it...Kennedy should have blown up Cuba!

Afraid to say even if I had the Dosh to buy that amount of Monte Sublimes.
                  I wouldn't.
I'm not convinced that these are going to age very well, and in fact they aren't smoking very well now. This is just my opinion remember
They are very, very loosely filled with Tobacco, and you can smoke one through, in well under an hour, with little or no complexity from it at all.
                  Maybe in time who knows.
That said I do have a couple of boxes myself, that I'll be keeping an eye on
Now if you'd said you had 32 boxes of Cohiba Sublimes

Totally disagree with you seriesteve :-) These are phenomenal smokes and definite future classics. Maybe you've just been unlucky and gotten a bad box?!
This is of course just mho

Yeh they are loose, but they smoke well, and smell DEVINE. Though the box I got are almost black in colour and don't smell quite as good (yet) as the two in Madrid. (I've yet to smoke the boxed ones though).

Personally the dury is out until I get another box, which I may have to do before the year is out.
