  • Hello, hello.....

    My first post!

    Just introducing myself.

Really great to have a UK forum (C.A. is fine but y'know...!)

    I smoke only cubans.
I buy in small numbers (currently I have about 200 in my humidor)
I have lots of regionals from around the world, and quite a few LE's
I prefer (generally) a more full strength (Boli, Partagas)...
but my favorite brand is Cohiba, then Trinidad
Pretty much like THEM ALL though (R&J not my faves, neither the "cheaper" cuban brands)
I live in London and enjoy (nearly) all the fine cigar shops here.
I don't tend to buy online (I like to hand select each stick I buy)
Apart from cigars, I love English shoes!(Edward Green my fave)

    OK, so.....
    hello! (as I said)

"A good Cuban cigar closes the door to the vulgarities of the world." Franz Liszt

    Welcome aboard!

Have you listened to the latest track on the home page's music player? It's Got to be a Cuban For Me... Plenty of BOTLs here to talk Boli, Partagas and Trini with.

You'll probably like any thread that even mentions Guantanamo ( ) cigars, it usually ends up in some slinging of stuff in their direction.

Good evening mr Soisant Neuf, great to have another Londoner on board.

I love the London stores so much I made an audio guide (to paraphrase the electric razor man) and I love a good pair of shoes as much as the next man.

Trinidads too, we have a lot in common, I can even almost remember what a Soisant Neuf is.

Nice to have you here, and for once I am not going to say anything about that bloody crazy Mexican.

              see...

I knew this would be a friendly place for like-minded fellas!

I should mention that fine whisk(e)y and cognac are also passions of mine.

I don't imagine I'm alone on this one eh!?

It would be nice to organise an agreeable afternoon at some fabulous cigar-friendly establishment/bar for those of us in London.

                    Welcome to the forum Michael.

Nice introduction there, although not sure about your 'small' numbers.

                    Are you dycalculic?

Well, maths was never my strong point....

I assume you're implying that my stash is actually quite large?
maybe so, but it's been accumulating over a long period of time, it's just that I "stock up" on my 2's and 3's regularly!

Anyway, in comparison to some, my collection is paltry!
