  • UK Cigar Clubs

Prompted by Rhiannon in Birmingham, I wondered if anybody would know of a list of similar clubs across the UK.

I know I am being lazy as I could google this. I thought others on here would perhaps have insider knowledge.

I'd want to find out about one in Kent. I bet there is one, and I just don't know about it!

We have one down here in exeter but it is full of snobbs, and i aint no snob as i dont look like a horse showing its teeth when you speak, and talk about all sorts of crap like they do,i am much a down to earth sort of bloke with no boring ole chit chat on how well the stock exchange is doing, lol.but on the look out for down to earth cigar people who likes a laff and normal things in life...bugger dont i waffel on,lol.

We found the Birmingham Club through some leaflets left at the local 'proper' tobacconists. I didn't find much on the internet. Now our biggest problem is finding places that are pleasant to smoke. We used to love smoking at the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham but that is now non-smoking, though our other nearest Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham has a very comfortable outdoor smoking hut. The only other place, Simpsons, is rather pricey. If you have somewhere locally perhaps you could start your own club?

I'll be moving to NW England in a month or so, and so, if there's any cigar clubs up north, that would be cool, so long as it's not full of toffs or snobs, as I have no time for them
