    Hi Deano,

How about the latest line in compressible, portable olefactory interference devices? See link below:

    Cheap too!

My ashtray goes out on the back doorstep.
Could you use a window sill?
Or one of those new gay water-whirring devices that look like fishbowls but probably don't work at all?...

Joking aside mate, I've never found anything that really works. Most just try to cover up one smell with another, and it ends up worse than it started. Some of the so-called "scientific" devices seem ineffective at best, but I've only heard this second-hand.

If there is anything that actually works, I'd be very interested...who knows, I might be allowed to smoke in the house!

Opening the windows wide for ages does it, was just thinking about winter....

Those water things are expensive too. Would prefer to spend on cigars

Might just get some more incense/candles and pretend I'm a hippie.

Without wanting to teach grandmothers how to suck eggs, stubbing out a cigar makes a horrible smell...my teachers always told me to let it die out naturally. But of course, you already know that...

Ive got no chance in the world to smoke indoors, somtimes the smell will woft in from outsde and (er in doors )gives me that look, ive tried those jos sticks and somtimes hide the smell,or those glade plug ins.cigar smoke isnt like fag smell as it lingers for ages.the trouble it has caused me in the past.

                  I have to smoke outside

I have a conserv, but the smell in the morning makes me wrench

I now have a large brollie and a fire to keep me warm, this being summer and all that.

This picture was taken tonight whilst the rain tried to stop me from smoking...
