Very nice Montesmoke, I was looking for some of these in Spain the other month, but couldn't find any and ended up getting some Hoyo Du Maire's instead, which have been surprisingly very good (I'm not that keen on any of the other Le Hoyos).

Today I am smoking a NC which is a bit of a treat for me. A Padilla Miami Belicoso. It has been good enough, in a traditional kind of way, maybe a little unexciting. Might be suffering a little from the low humidity in my humidor, which is great for cubans but no so good for some NCs in my experience

        Hi did64!

Could u explain a bit more why do u think that low humidity is great for Cuban cigars?

I never heard this from anyone else.

Sorry if I was a little unclear, just I tend to find my cubans smoke well just below 65%. It eases up the draw and seems to eliminate the vegitale flavours that cubans can have at higher humidities.

From what I hear the ideal RH for NCs is around 70%. I have no experience with this but that's just what I hear from american friends. It seemed to affect this Padilla Miami which has been in my desktop humi for a couple of months which smoked a little hot and bitter, and the wrapper cracked a little.
