  • Abbreviations

Not a complaint really but just a whinge. Many of the more knowledgeable on here just provide an abbreviation for the cigar they are smoking etc. And I surely can't be the only one who hasn't the faintest idea of what many of these abbreviations stand for.

I prefer to write out in full what I smoke because I know that there must surely be some people who like me are simply not au fait with abbreviations. This is my personal preference and I do not expect others to follow. But is there a KEY available on the site where people can turn?

Which is my take misterbulgarin. But I don't want to be a PC "grammar police" twerp. It is a matter of personal taste but for the Newbie abbreviations are just Greek. So long as there is a place to go where people can look up what these things mean all is well. For my part, I will make it my policy to write out in full the name and type of cigar.

Just a simple thought from a humble man if we were to right out in full Ramon Allones Small Club Corona (RASCC) then from that point on in the text a abbreiviation could be used?
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:

Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

I'm a FOG who smokes some NCs but really prefers my BBFs, SD4s, RAGs, and LGC MD1s, especially in the company of my BOTL while sipping a fine AB.
IMHO we do get carried away with our abbreviations.
