Thanks to my current lighting technique, my cigars rarley cone majorlyanymore, but occassionaly I get some annoying coning. I know its sometimes down to the construction, but really, what is coning?

Is it lighting it and smoking it too fast? Sometimes Ive found that if I let a coned cigar smoke by itself for a little while, while being perfectly horizontal, it may even itself out. Dont know if thats the tried and tested way but Ive found it can help out sometimes. What do you guys do with yer cones?

Are we talking coning in the centre of the cigar? Or one side coning?

I think the centre coning is due to the Ligero leaf that burns slower than the other tobacco leaves

If you find one side burns quicker than the other, rotate the cigar in between puffs. I have found that helps for me

It can aslo be attributed to the cigar being too close to a humidification device and one side getting more RH than the other.
