    The Partagas SD5 EL!

Has anybody ever tried one of these?

I got one about a year ago and was told by the chap in the shop to let it age for at least a year before having it. That time is almost upon me now so was wondering if anybody has any experience of them?

Looking at the usual sites it does not seem to get a very good review, the main issue being blandness!

I've got a couple in the humi, but not tried them yet. From reading this forum I've picked up that's its best to age nearly all EL's before getting stuck in, so prob leave it there for another few months.

Please Write a review if you decide to light one up.

Got two boxes on order that should be here sometime this week...!?!

Tried my first one of these back in June from JJ Fox in London, absolutely loved it.

A really flavourful smoke. Nuts, honey, chocolate and expresso, you can taste them all, with a notable power in the background...

        Cheers, HabanoSy

Interesting comments HabanoSy, pretty much every review I have read says it is not that good. But to be fair there are a lot of reviews I have read about other sticks which say it is not good, but I really enjoy it.

Will maybe have mine in the next few weeks and depending on that add it to the list of box buys for the future. This list is getting bigger by the week.

Can see me buying a new big humi just to put all the potential buys in.

I didn't enjoy them at all when they first came out but after letting them rest for nearly a year there's been a vast improvement....I smoke one every few months or so and the one I had last week was excellent....I think they'll get better too....

Still letting mine rest awhile before I get cracking.

                        Maybe?

Might have to give a box of these a try after the reviews I have read here.

                            settle.

Never really fancied the vitola to be honest Kdot, and then I read some replies that they seemed a bit young.

Looks like with some age they have settled down.
