  • UKCF London Cigar Walk/Megaherf - Dunhill

Evening all, having been a fairly regular customer at Dunhill in Mayfair (part of the walk) i have spoken to Howard today to enquire as to if there was anything he would be able to root out for us that would be special, that we could purchase on the day. He is going to have a look for me, and i will speak to him again tomorrow to see if he has anything. My question is - would anybody be up for contributing towards this, and if so, how much do they feel would be a reasonable amount that they would like to pay for something "different"? He is thinking of some Vintage Dominican Dunhill from 1984, just to put this into perspective. If we have enough people interested, then i can put an offer in for the box perhaps?

    Let me know your thoughts?

"him" means Howard, the man in charge of the humidor there, just to clarify things.

    Sounds interesting to me!

Hi Jim, that would be great, unfortunately Howard won't be at the store on the day of the walk as it is the Jewish New Year but I have lots of stories from my original interview with him.

I'd been reconsidering the walk given that I'd have to be on a very early train to make it in... but that's changed my mind right back! I've yet to meet an unattractive Laura (or Lauren) - something about the first three letters?
