Just followed the Gurka link...nice looking website...and they have a brand called "Vintage Shaggy"! What a name for a cigar!!

Given that my kids are both avid Scooby Doo fans - courtesy of a freebie from their big sister...I wonder if they do a Vintage Scooby too?

They certainly look good cigars, and the bands are really cool too!

        HEHEHEHEHE

I must admit, never tried one but they do lood good...
Apprently Gurkha cigars have become known as the “Rolls Royce” cigar of the Dominican Republic. Gurkha also holds the title for the most expensive cigars in the world, having the ultra premium Black Dragon retail at $1,150 a stick, and the His Majesty Reserve retail at $750 a stick.
Don't know how true that is Considering the amount some Cubans reach at auctions...

Never seen Don Ramos Monte, sorry

I'm sure I've smoked some of those in the past, Monte. I think I got them through my American brother-in-law. It was a while back, but I seem to remember they were good.

Gurkha makes some fine cigars. However, they also make A LOT of cigars, so depending on which one you happen to be smoking, your mileage may vary.

I'm particularly fond of the "Legend" series of which I have smoked many.
