    Mr B Review
    Jose Marti Churchill
    Gaunge: 50 Length: 7.5"

A little introduction first; I purchased one of these in my old cigar store for ?10, being a newbie back then getting a big churchill was pretty great fun. Always love an unknown, untried brand, I remember it being a pleasant enough smoke, and for ?10 in the UK, not so bad.

Fast foward to now, using the internet for my buying, and finding the wonders of the cheap NC market and the likes of the UKCF trans-atlantic shipper contacts, I managed to get some of these for under $20!!!, ten of them infact, and I paid ?10 for one.

I tracked these down thanks to Gman and got some immediately so I could retry. The long short of it, I got them, I was happy.

Now the actual cigar, I always love a conneticut shade, they're normally easy going and non-harsh most of the time, and this Jose marti is no different. The first one I tried, while nice, I felt it was a little bit 'grassy'. So I've aged them for about a month, and todays one was pretty swell.

After the first tier of ash broke off, there was no coning, which was a nice surprise as ever. This cigar gives off a really hard to explain taste in the mouth, dare I say liquorice? When you've been indulging in some sweets, and after a while your mouth has that after taste? Similar to that, but minus the sugar of course. I've had a few other NC's have that 'feel', im sure NC fans may (or may not) know what I mean.

I was looking to chop off some sunday hours, and I think this boiled down to 2 hours pretty much. REALLY good draw , burn and smoke, top marks. Being a conneticut, as I said, it wasn't too hard going, it offerd some remarkable flavors. Half way through I made myself some black coffee, and the two mixed quite nicely I must say. I didn't have my taste hat on for this, so I won't try and scrape the barrel trying to remember what it gave off, but I can say that there was nothing bad about this cigar.

I will continue to age these, infact I may get more off gman because for 20 bucks for 10 big ol churchills is an absolute steal imo, for a cheap smoke they are pretty damn good!
