  • Trinidad T Seminar at Boisdale 21st September

Last evening Big T and I attended what I now discover was the first 'Cigar Seminar' on the terrace at Boisdale.

The event lasts an hour hosted by the genial Simon Chase who spoke on the cigar while we smoked and enjoyed a large glass of Claret.

I've written it up here Nic's Blog but there are a couple of additional photographs of the ever camera shy 'T' for you guys.

T was very busy writing up his tasing notes at this point, note, if you will, the waiter just entering warp speed in the background.

and T conversing with a 'student' who had just slipped out of the dorm for the evening for a quick smoke.

Or it could have been Deano's little brother?

By the way, T and I met, by chance, at Tom Tom and I have some nice photographs of the full set of limited edition humidors in the flesh which I will post once I have caught up with the 'Sexy Cigar Party' pictures.

Now you can all see why I try to avoid being in pictures. I will add thoughts on the evening later. Pity you had to leave before the meal. Simon Chase was a star post-dinner and we chatted for some time.

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

      THe Luck of the Brits!

Nice write up on your blog, senor Nic. Sounds like a wonderful evening. As a Trinidad lover myself, I will have to experience the "T" very, very soon (are you listeing C4). Only wish Boisdale was a wee bit closer to my beloved SoM, MX.
