Cigar Burns

I thought I would start this thread to collate the photographs from the Mega Herf on Saturday - as it thought a separate thread would be better. I haven't seen many Photos as of yet - but I am hoping that people just haven't managed to get them off of their cameras - so when you do - post them here so we can all appreciate!

I'll start off with a cigar burn accident then.

I've only had one cigar burn which could have been nasty.
While on holiday in the states last year I was sitting on a lounger by the pool half way through a fat one, feeling pretty smug about the haul of NC's i'd purchased earlier with a rum & coke besides me.
I'd edged my way back up the part reclined lounger, as I got to the desired resting position with the cigar in my mouth I raised my head up to view the perfectly clear blue sky and wonder at how great life was.
I took a large toke and as I was expelling the smoke, in a split second the cigar fell backwards from my lips and was pivoted over the bridge of my nose to fall into the inside corner of my eye.
Fortunatley my eyelid closed in time. As it hit the ash crumpled over my eyelid. In a blind panic and thrashing my head around the cigar fell off before I could grab it, leaving me with a burning pain in the corner of my eye.
Still part blind in that eye from ash and a burn I needed to cool it down and clear the ash. without thinking I grabbed my drink from the side of me and tipped it over my face as I knew it had ice in it. I dont know which made it worse the rum or the coke.
Still in a flap I suddenly thought of the cigar and its final resting place. With visions of it landing on my towel on the lounger and going up in flames a further 5 secs of flapping entailed by furiously shaking the towel around and scowering the floor with one eye open for the cigar.
Thankfully no permanant damage was done. apart from the embaressment of spending the rest of the holiday with cream all round my eye.
