  • Bada big boom!

I am in no mood for the usual silly japes but I am duty bound to rain the usual sycophantic praise and gratitude on the great and noble Rokkitsci.

I have had several conversations with the charming yank (I can say yank as I am half yank myself) and he is a chap with an "out there" sense of humour, just like myself.

He is insanely generous, even the postage cost of todays parcel was a shock. He very kindly sent me two "surplus" humidors that will allow me to go ahead with an acquisition of some cigars that has been in limbo for several weeks. He also popped three of his own brand cigars in and some of his own dried beef meat food thing.

I have had a lousy day, another "no thanks" on a job I thought I had in the bag. My inability to return his generosity at this time has ceased to be funny, long ago.

All I can say to Reverend (not kidding) Rokkitsci is many many thanks. My gratitude will be returned as soon as I am able, seriously.

The note he put in with the cigars is something to behold but I do not think I should steal his thunder. His included business card is also intriguing as he appears to be a "Minister, Universal Life Church", hence the aforementioned Reverend.

I will refrain from posting pics as you all know what his cigars look like.

    Thanks, Trev.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
